Chestnut Hill Farm: At Chestnut Hill Farm, you can trek through 131 acres, past fields and pastures framed by stone walls , and enjoy grassland bird watching under the wide-open sky. Designated bird reserves allow for safe nesting habitat for Bobolinks, Eastern Meadowlarks, and other ground nesting species. Loop trails take you through upland forests and along the edges of freshwater wetlands. Or, follow the gentle cart-path from the parking area through fields of hay, alfalfa, and vegetables into woods dominated by oak, red maple, and white pine to the covered embankment of the Hultman Aqueduct, which provides a backup route for Boston’s water supply from the Quabbin and Wachusett Reservoirs. Powisset Farm: Powisset Farm is a CSA (community supported agriculture) operation that currently grows for 355 Summer CSA members and 200 Winter CSA members. By purchasing a share at Powisset Farm, CSA members help to create community around the farm and show their commitment to locally grown produce. Powisset Farm is on a landscape with a history of pastures and planted fields dating back three centuries. Visitors are welcome to stroll down the farm lane, say hello to the pigs, and admire the rows of vegetables and herbs. Beyond the cultivated land, Powisset Farm features an upland oak forest, a pair of brooks, vernal pools, and wooded wetlands.

SOLF (Southborough Open Land Foundation): SOLF was founded in 1988 to preserve, protect, and enhance the natural resources in the Town of Southborough. Their goal is to maintain and improve the quality of life for the benefit of present and future generations of Southborough’s residents and visitors. Since its founding, the Southborough Open Land Foundation has preserved seventeen properties totaling 181 acres as open space in Southborough. STC (Southborough Trail Committee): The STC will oversee volunteers to create, monitor and maintain town resource trails in Southborough in coordination with any entities that are public or private, and will coordinate with the Regional trail organizations.  Additionally, the STC shall be responsible for oversight of all required monitoring and maintenance obligations under the town’s trail licensing agreements with both DCR and MWRA.  This mission is exclusive of Breakneck Hill Conservation Land.

The Trustees of Reservations (TOR):  TOR is a non-profit land conservation and historic preservation organization dedicated to preserving natural and historical places in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It is the oldest regional land trust in the world and has 100,000 dues-paying members. In addition to land stewardship, the organization is also active in conservation partnerships, community supported agriculture (CSA), environmental and conservation education, community preservation and development, and green building.

Weir River Farm: Originally part of a picturesque, early-20th-century country estate, Weir River Farm today is a 75-acre working farm comprised of fields and pastures surrounded by oak and red cedar woodlands. The farm supports diverse wildlife habitats, including upland grasslands, which are in rapid decline in the Commonwealth. Weir River passes through the farm at its northwest edge.
